If the credit card companies had their
way.... ... our flag would look like a credit card,
instead of stars and stripes ...and this would be our Pledge of
Allegiance: One nation under debt ....inescapable ....with penalties and interest for all.
Wouldn’t that just be “priceless”!

millions and millions of dollars to get your Congress to change the

And...guess what...there
wish came true...or so they
thought.
Congress
passed and the President signed
into law a new bankruptcy bill
that was meant to really put a
hurt on your right to file

what they meant to do.
Why did they do it?
So that the credit
card companies could

Why would they want to do that?
Because making huge profits off of you (30
billion just last year) is

What happens in the future when they squeeze

they thought, and you can’t get

As it turns out, the new, big,
bad bankruptcy law ain't that
bad.
As it turns out, you can do
almost everything under the new
law that you could under the old
law. The truth is
that...in some ways...the new
